Natural History: Native Palm Tree.
Wild Date Palm is wild and relatively smaller cousin of famous Date Palm. It is a medium sized palm tree, native to Indian Subcontinent,
Fruits are small, oblong, one-seeded, turn yellowish brown when ripe. Fruits are edible and sweet in taste (Flowers of India, 2023).

 

Other Common Names: Silver Date Palm, Indian Date Palm (Flowers of India, 2023).
