Natural History: A creeping herb found in rocky or disturbed habitats. Flowers are small, pale yellow with long stalk (Flowers of India, 2022). Many butterflies get attracted to these flowers.

 

Note: Vanessa cardui – Painted Lady was recorded laying eggs on this plant by Shivam Bhatt and Anitava Roy in 2019, but the complete life cycle is yet to be recorded to confirm this as a new larval host for the butterfly.
