This is a list of contributors to the Butterflies of India website. These are also the copyright holders for images submitted to this website. It is requested for these contributors to be listed as authors of any papers that result from the dataset generated by this website. For a scientific paper with a large dataset and a large set of collaborators, the contributors may be acknowledged as the "Butterflies of India" consortium, which will encompass all the contributors listed below.
All the observations submitted to this website are peer reviewed by subject experts before they appear on the website. Peer review takes time but it also ensures that all the information available on the website is reasonably reliable and research quality. We also incorporate suggestions from our users so that taxonomic and other information is updated on a regular basis. So contact the editors immediately if you have any updates.
