Natural History: Native Parasitic Shrub.
A parasitic shrub growing on the branches of other trees. Flowers are short, greenish-red in colour, appearing in axillary clusters.

 

Note: This plant was previously reported as larval host plant for Euthalia lubentina – Gaudy Baron from Sri Lanka (Jayasinghe et al., 2014), Abhishek Rane confirmed its use in India from Sindhudurg, Maharashtra in March 2023.
