Choaspes spp - - Awlking spp.
Four species of Choaspes occur in India: (1) Choaspes benjaminii (Guérin-Méneville, 1843) – Common Awlking, (2) Choaspes furcata Evans, 1932 – Hooked Awlking, (3) Choaspes stigmata Evans, 1932 – Branded Awlking, and (4) Choaspes xanthopogon (Kollar, [1844]) – Spiny Awlking. They cannot be easily identified from the images of undersides alone taken in nature.
