This species is endemic to mid-elevation forests of the Western Ghats. It has been recorded so far from Karnataka within the Indian limits.
The species is identified by conjoined markings at the end of the discal cell on the underside of forewing and conjoined sub-basal markings on the underside of hindwing. There are no orange markings on the upper side of forewing.
This is a common species.
