Subspecies in India
No subspecies are listed under this species. This was given as the Dusky Meadowbrown by Evans (1932), the name that is widely used for a better known European species, Hyponephele lycaon (Kühn, 1774), so we have assigned a new English name for the Indian Hyponephele pulchra.
