Photo Gallery and Species Biology

This is historically known from Manipur and Naga Hills, but there are no recent records of this species from India. The sighting reported here from Dibang Valley appears to be a rediscovery of the species in this area, and a range extension of the species into E. Arunachal Pradesh.

The precise locality of recent sightings of this very rare species is being withheld to protect this population from illegal collecting until forest officials and other authorities put safety measures in place.
