Other Name Combinations: Boehmeria kamley Acharya & Yonek. (WFO, 2023).
Natural History: A shrub found in foothills of Himalaya, along the pathsides in the forests of eastern Nepal, Sikkim to Bhutan. This plant is locally known as Kamley in its native range. Rounded leaves with lobed apex and triangular marginal tooths are characteristics of this species (Acharya et al., 2002).
Notes: Images fm993-fm994 belong to Boehmeria virgata. They will eventually be moved to its species page as the website is updated.
