Appias wardii (Moore, [1884]) - Sahyadri Albatross

Subspecies in India

No subspecies are listed under this species. It has been previously listed as the Lesser Albatross (Evans 1932, as a subspecies of Appias paulina) and Ward’s Albatross (Yata et al. 2010).

  This species is legally protected in India under Schedule II of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
