Catopsilia pomona pomona (Fabricius, 1775) – Oriental Lemon Emigrant. This is also known as the Common Emigrant. This species is not legally protected in India under any schedules of WildLife (Protection) Act, 1972. Larval Host Plants are Bauhinia racemosa (WynterBlyth 1957; Kunte 2000), Butea monosperma (WynterBlyth 1957; Kunte 2000), Cassia (Robinson et al. 2010),Cassia fistula (Robinson et al. 2010; Wynter-Blyth 1957), Dalbergia latifolia (P. Churi pers. obs. 2017), Senna tora (Wynter-Blyth 1957; Kunte 2000), Senna siamea (Wynter-Blyth 1957; Kunte 2000; Robinson et al. 2010), Sesbania grandiflora (V.C. Balakrishnan pers. obs. 2017) (Fabaceae). In this host plant is Cycas revoluta. The pupa capsule and adult on the Cycas revoluta.
