Aberrant specimen. Sorry for the bad upperparts photos: these are screen shots from videos as the butterfly didn’t open its wings but for flying. ( The photos were taken at 10:39am, past basking time). I never saw the specimen again, nor another one in similar colours, though we used to get dorippus and alcippoides forms before the Calotropis fields were bulldozed.
