new LHP of Common Castor & Angled Castor.
T. praetervisa is a neglected plant previously misidentified as T. hispida or T. involucrata but it differs as Cordate leaf base and elliptic leaves. It is very common in the wild and as castor plants are not found in the forest, both castor butterflies use it as LHP. It is called as चुरकी in marathi.
I have already uploaded completed life cycle of both butterflies on this plant. please check and add this new plant in the larval host plant list and link it to butterfly pages.
