Host Plant: Mangifera sp. (Amarapali Variety)
Caterpillar and Oecophylla smaragdina ants interactions is very much interesting. Caterpillars feeds them and the ant protect them, help to move from one branches to other branches or help to search the suitable place for pupation. I saw the caterpillar move on the same trail which ants are used. Is the cat sense the feromen of ants? Don't know. In extream case ant grab the little cat like a pupa of its own and carry them from one branches to another for better supply of fresh leaves.
