This species has been recorded so far from every state and union territory of India, except Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Gujarat, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Meghalaya, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, and Tripura.
This is a common species.
