Colotis aurora (Cramer, [1780]) - Plain Orange-tip

Subspecies in India

No subspecies are listed under this species. However, this species is commonly but incorrectly given as Colotis eucharis Fabricius, 1775 in Indian books. Papilio eucharis Fabricius, 1775 is a junior primary homonym of Papilio (now Delias) eucharis Drury, 1773.

Conservation and Special status

This species is not legally protected in India under any schedules of WildLife (Protection) Act, 1972.
