Subspecies in India

No subspecies are listed under this species. The subspecies name, Taractrocera maevius sagara (Moore, [1866]), represents infrasubspecific variation. This is also known as the Common Grass Dart or Oriental Grass Dart.
 

Conservation and Special status

This species is not legally protected in India under any schedules of WildLife (Protection) Act, 1972.
