Conservation and Special status
The subspecies kanjupkula is legally protected in India under Schedule II of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
Photo Gallery and Species Biology
This species is historically known only from the Manipur and Naga Hills in NE India (Antram 1924; Evans 1932; Talbot 1947). The record (BOI-bt715) published here on 19 July 2015 represents the first record of this species from Western Arunachal Pradesh.
The subspecies kanjupkula is legally protected in India under Schedule II of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
