Elymnias hypermnestra (Linnaeus, 1763) – Common Palmfly

Subspecies in India:

(1) Elymnias hypermnestra undularis (Drury, 1773) – Himalayan Common Palmfly
(2) Elymnias hypermnestra cottonis (Hewitson, 1874) – Andaman Common Palmfly. This taxon was previously treated as a species, Elymnias cottonis (Hewitson, 1874) – Andaman Palmfly, but is now treated as a subspecies of Elymnias hypermnestra (Wei et al. 2017).
