Subspecies in India:

(1) Prosotas nora ardates (Moore, [1875]) – Indian Common Lineblue
(2) Prosotas nora fulva (Evans, [1925]) – Andaman Common Lineblue
(3) Prosotas nora dilata (Evans, 1932) – Nicobar Common Lineblue

  The subspecies fulva is legally protected in India under Schedule II of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
