LHP not reported from the Western Ghats. Elsewhere, it is known to feed on Strobilanthes (Robinson et al. 2010), Strobilanthes capitata (Dudgeon 1895; Wynter-Blyth 1957; Robinson et al. 2010) (Acanthaceae). Persicaria orientalis (Dudgeon 1895; Wynter-Blyth 1957; Robinson et al. 2010) (Polygonaceae). Prunus persica (Robinson et al. 2010) (Rosaceae). Girardinia diversifolia (Wynter-Blyth 1957; Robinson et al. 2010) (Urticaceae).
