Ampittia subvittatus (Moore, 1878) – Tiger Hopper

Subspecies in India:

(1) Ampittia subvittatus subradiatus Moore, 1878 – Khasi Tiger Hopper
This species was earlier listed under Ochus. Based on findings from dissections of the male genitalia and molecular phylogenetic analysis, subvittatus is now treated as a species under Ampittia (Huang et al. 2019). Similar to Ampittia dioscorides, (type species of the genus), subvittatus has "... uncus as broad as tegumen and bifid apically ..." (Huang et al. 2019).
