Byasa plutonius (Oberthür, 1876) – Pink-spotted Windmill
Subspecies in India:
(1) Byasa plutonius pembertoni Moore, [1903] – Himalayan Pink-spotted Windmill. pembertoni has previously been treated as a subspecies of Atrophaneura alcinous (Klug, 1836) – Chinese Windmill.
The subspecies pembertoni is legally protected in India under Schedule I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
