Calinaga gautama Moore, [1902] – Elongated Freak
Subspecies in India:
No subspecies are listed under this species. It is sometimes treated as a subspecies of Calinaga buddha – Orange-breasted Freak, especially in older literature. A revision of Calinaga is underway, more information will be made available here in due course. Note that this species was previously briefly listed as the Pale Brown Freak on this website.
