News: Two New Butterflies Discovered

The Western Ghats has two new butterflies: Amathusia travancorica Kunte, 2024 – Travancore Palmking and Athyma inara sahyadriensis Kunte, 2024 – Sahyadri Colour Sergeant, both new to science and endemic to the Western Ghats.  See further details in the research paper describing the butterflies:
