Tarucus waterstradti Druce, 1895 – Separate Pierrot
Subspecies in India:
(1) Tarucus waterstradti dharta Bethune-Baker, 1918 – Darjeeling Separate Pierrot. The species is also known as the Waterstradt's Pierrot. The subspecies dharta has been known in the literature as the Assam Pierrot, which is a misnomer because the type locality was Darjeeling and the subspecies ranges from the Eastern Himalaya to Indo-China.
